After a couple of times of sneaking out, she launches into song about how she's an adult and how she should be able to go out into the world by herself, prodded by Rotti to do so, until Nate strikes her. The over protection of Nate leaves Shilo to be bitter towards him. This is where the external conflict is introduced. After sneaking out, she meets Rotti, who promises to cure her blood disease. Shilo has a blood disease, passed down from her mother. It is then revealed to us the true identity of the Repo Man, a man named Nathan Wallace with a daughter named Shilo. But, it seems there is a history between this Repo Man and Rotti. We then cut to a man in a mask who, unfortunately, takes back the organs that the customers had if they aren't able to pay Geneco back.
He then erects Geneco, a company where you can get your organs replaced. A man by the name of Rotti Largo, depicted as the man in the suit, strikes a deal with the government to make the buying and selling of organs. We are introduced to the setting - a world ravaged by a disease that makes your organs fail.
